  • Description: Ubicado en el Palacio de Villahermosa, el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, fue abierto al público en 1992. La gestión que el barón Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza hizo de la colección se centró, especialmente, en la adquisición de obras de los siglos XIX y XX enmarcadas dentro de corrientes como el Impresionismo, Postimpresionismo, Fovismo, los movimientos expresionistas alemanes, las vanguardias y la pintura de posguerra europea y americana.
